In Situ Slum Rehabilitation- This one is for rehabilitating people from slum areas.
Beneficiary-Led Construction- Those who own land and would like to further construct/enhance the said land can avail of this scheme.
Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS)- The Credit Linked Subsidy scheme is for people who can purchase land/home or will be able to make some changes in their existing homes. The government credits a subsidy on their home loan.
Affordable Housing in Partnership- This scheme is for people who don't own any land and cannot qualify for a home loan.

How to Check PMAY Subsidy Status?

You can check subsidy status PMAY by simply entering in one or two of the below-mentioned details:

Aadhar Number
Application ID
Registered Mobile Number
Driving License
Passport Number

PMAY Subsidy Status Check online

To perform a PMAY subsidy tracking online, you first need to visit the official PMAY website (https://pmaymis.gov.in/Track_Application_Status.aspx). You have to enter one of the required details and track your assessment status.

PMAY Subsidy Status Check by Aadhar Number

As mentioned before, you can check your PMAY subsidy status by entering various details. Here is how to match PMAY status check with the help of an Aadhar number:

Visit the official PMAY website (https://pmaymis.gov.in/open/check_aadhar_existence.aspx?comp=b)

2. Now select if you have a physical Aadhar or a virtual Aadhar ID.

3) Now, fill in the required details. Enter your Virtual or physical Aadhar number ID as well as your full name as mentioned in Aadhar.

4) Now, scroll down and tick the checkbox marked “Click here to indicate that you have read and agreed to share Aadhar”. Then click on “Check”.

5) You will be shown the latest PMAY subsidy status.

PMAY Subsidy Status Check by Mobile Number/Assessment ID

Here’s how to check PMAY subsidy status in a few simple steps:

Visit the official PMAY website (https://pmaymis.gov.in/Track_Application_Status.aspx)
Now, choose whether you want to track your assessment status via Name, father’s name and registered mobile number or by the Assessment ID. Once you click on the first option, then you also need to fill in the required details like State, District, the city along with your name and registered mobile number. Click on “Submit”.

Alternatively, you can choose the “By Assessment ID “ and then provide your Assessment ID and registered mobile number. Then click on “Submit”.

You will now be able to check the status of your PMAY application.

PMAY Housing Loan Subsidy Status Check

Home Loan Subsidy Status Check — (More and more people are realizing their dreams of owning a house thanks to the government’s CLSS scheme)

For people who have their own land/house and can afford to pay home loans, the government credits a home loan subsidy for construction/enhancement purposes. To check the status of your pmay housing loan subsidy, you can simply follow these few steps:

First, visit the official CLSS Awas portal https://pmayuclap.gov.in/

On the home page, fill in your Application ID and then click on the “Get Status” button. For your reference, here are the five possible application stages:

Application ID generated
Due Diligence by PLI
Claim uploaded on Central Nodal agency portal
PMAY claim status approved
Subsidy released to PLI

The system will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP.
After doing so, the applicant will be able to track PMAY status checks in detail. While the steps passed will be shown in green, the still pending ones will be marked blue.

PMAY Subsidy Status Check Offline

If you are not comfortable online, you can always get in touch with the local authorities, in particular, the officer-in-charge of PMAY projects in your area and know your housing loan subsidy status. You can also contact the National Housing Bank (NHB) or the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) via their respective toll-free numbers.

Ans. Through primary lending institutions, beneficiaries' loan accounts will get an upfront interest subsidy that will reduce their effective home mortgage and Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI).
