What is GPRA?

GPRA or General Pool Residential Accommodation is a Central Government scheme which provides residential accommodation to eligible Central Government employees. These properties are under the administration of the directorate of estates in Delhi. These properties are allotted according to the provisions mentioned in the allotment of the government’s residence rule since 1963 in Delhi and 31 stations outside the national capital of a country in cities like Mumbai, Chandigarh and Kolkata and many others.

Who is Eligible for General Pool Residential Accommodation?

  1. It is available for applicants who live within the boundaries of the NCT. It is important to note that their locations or residences need to be approved by the cabinet committee on the accommodation or the CCA.
  2. It is also available for other applicants working in government offices that are not situated in Delhi. The proposal of these applications needs to be approved by the CCA and forwarded to the directorate with the approval of the joint secretary. They also need to provide information such as the status of the office and if the officer or the department staff is eligible for residential accommodation from any other pool.
  3. This is also available for all Government employees having a departmental residential accommodation pool. 
  4. Important to note the applicant has to submit a certificate from the department stating that no junior to the applicant has been given an allotment from the department. 
  5. Any certificates that do not specifically mention any of the above criteria, will be denied. 

Allotment Procedure of GPRA

  1. To apply for GPRA, you need to be on a unified waiting list for a particular type of accommodation.
  2. The unified waiting list includes everyone that is applying for the GPRA which includes people who are waiting for the initial allotment as well as those who want to change their accommodation.  
  3. Allotments are made based on the date, priority and seniority of each application. On the unified list each applicant is allowed to allotment slip is initial and the change of accommodation.

  1. Go to the e-sampada website and click on Government Residential Accommodation.
  2. Submit the login ID request you receive from e-sampada. Once you register, log in through your mobile number or email id.
  3. Once logged in, fill out the DE-II form and follow the procedure.
  4. Fill out the application form and the DE-II form. The form will then be verified online through e-sampada by the administration of the eligible offices.
  5. Once it is accepted it will be ensured in the next month’s waiting list for eligible types of accommodation
  6. After the allotment of accommodation is made for you allotment letters will be received by all the people who applied online and the individual shall submit his/her acceptance online within a period of 8 days to do this he/she has to fill up the acceptance form available on e-sampada.

E Sampada allows users to rent the following spaces:

  • Booking of venue – E Sampada is currently accepting online bookings for 5 Ashoka Road and Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. Shimla’s Kidwai Nagar Lawns and Fagli Club are two other options.
  • Booking of office space – The Directorate of Estates is in charge of the assignment of office space in Delhi and other cities. Based on space availability, the office spaces are assigned to qualifying central government offices. E-Parisar might be used to book the offices.
  • Booking of markets/shops – The Directorate of Estates also supervises the allotment and ownership rights of the INA Market, as well as the newly-constructed markets in New Moti Bagh and Kidwai Nagar (east).

  • Go to the bottom of the E Sampada website and click on ‘click here to register a complaint or check the progress of a complaint.
  • You’ll get to http://esampada.mohua.gov.in/signin/crm after that. To acquire your e Sampada login, put your mobile number or email address below and press submit.
  • You will be given an OTP to fill out.
  • Then you’ll be directed to a page that displays the complaint’s status in columns such as ticket number, complaint date, complaint information, category, sub-category, details, current status, and movement.
  • If you wish to file a new complaint on E Sampada, go to the top right-hand side of the page and click the green “new complaint” tab. Fill in all of your information, your complaint, and any supporting papers before pressing the submit button on the e Sampada website.

E-Sampada: Allotment procedure of GPRA

All candidates using E AWAS Delhi, including those waiting for initial allotment and change of accommodation, are grouped together on this waiting list. Allotments are made according to priority date and seniority. Each applicant for Central Government’s GRPA quarters in Delhi is given two initial and change allotments for each kind of accommodation.
