This colour signifies purity, cleanliness, openness, innocence, simplicity, and luxury. White is also known to reflect light and add brightness to any room. Blue
This colour brings a sense of peace and tranquillity to any room that it is used in. As blue also represents elements such as air and water, it’s said to reduce stress and pain and bring about healing. This is why it's advised to use this colour in rooms facing the East. Because of its calming and relaxing effect on the mind blue is best suited for bedrooms, especially guest bedrooms, avoid using it in office spaces. Choose a light shade of blue so that it is easy on the eyes. Also, keep in mind that too much blue tends to lead to colds so keep the amount of blue paint used in mind.
Yellow
In the North-East portion of your home stick to yellow and shades of yellow including Gold. Yellow is a colour that is bright and hence should be used in rooms that don’t receive direct sunlight. It’s also a good idea to use this colour in your pooja room as it’s an auspicious colour. Yellow also signifies purity, positive thoughts, illumination, concentration and a feeling of happiness.

Green is best suited for rooms in the North and signifies healing, nature, harmony, growth, fertility prosperity, and like we mentioned, positive energy. Pink
If you're looking for a colour that signifies warmth, happiness, love and relaxation go for pink, not bright pink but a light or muted shade of pink. This colour is best in rooms facing south especially for bedrooms. It’s said that pink relaxes and even induces sleep.
