8 एप्रिल, 2020: लॉकडाऊनमुळे बांधकाम साहित्याची पुरवठा साखळी देशभर विस्कळीत झाली आहे. कर्नाटक रीअल इस्टेट नियामक प्राधिकरणाने (आरईआरए) बंगळुरुच्या सर्व निवासी इमारतींना प्रकल्प पूर्ण करण्यास मुदतवाढ दिली आहे. महारेराने प्रकल्प पूर्ण करण्यासाठी 3 महिन्यांची मुदतदेखील वाढविली होती. बांधकाम साहित्याच्या पुरवठ्यात अडथळा असण्याव्यतिरिक्त, कामगार व त्यांच्या टोळ्या असे बहुसंख्य लोक आपापल्या गावी परत गेले आहेत. त्यामुळे सध्याची परिस्थिती बांधकाम कामांना अनुकूल नाहीये. कर्नाटक 'रेरा' प्राधिकरणाने, रेरा नोंदणीकृत सर्व प्रकल्पांसाठी, प्रकल्पाची मुदत 3 महिन्यांपर्यंत वाढविली आहे,ज्यांची समाप्ती तारीख (सुधारित समाप्तीच्या तारखेसह) 15 मार्च 2020 रोजी किंवा त्यानंतर कालबाह्य होईल. सर्व वैधानिक अनुपालन,रिअल इस्टेट (नियमन आणि विकास) अधिनियम 2016 नियम व कायद्यांनुसार,ज्या कामांची मुदत मार्च, एप्रिल आणि मे 2020 मध्ये संपत होती त्यांची वैधता, 30 जून 2020 पर्यंत वाढविण्यात आली आहे.
