Watermelony martini
There isn’t a more refreshing fruit than the watermelon. And what’s more, a regular sized melon is enough for a party of three!
What you need: watermelon, sugar syrup, vodka, lemon juice, lemon wedges
Steps:
1. De-seed the watermelon and puree the chunks in a blender. Now place the puree in the freezer to cool for about an hour or two.
2. Place your martini glasses in the freezer too.
3. Blend a cup of watermelon puree with a hint of sugar syrup, lime juice and vodka in the food processor.
4. Pour out the mixture into frozen martini glasses.
5. If you are feeling adventurous, use a salt or sugar rim for your glasses.
6. Your sweet and refreshing martini is ready.
Traditional Mint Julep

This is a drink that originated in the southern United States and is known as the official drink of the Kentucky Derby. It’s known for its sweet and refreshing flavours.
What you need: 2-3 tablespoons club soda, fine sugar, mint leaves, mint springs, whiskey, crushed ice
Steps:
1. Pour the club soda in a cup and slowly stir in the fine sugar as per taste. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
2. Now pour this mixture into a whiskey glass and add 10-15 mint leaves. Muddle using a glass muddler or a traditional pestle.
3. Be careful to muddle only until the soda takes a faint green colour.
4. Add your whiskey and top the glass with crushed ice.
5. Your mint julep is ready to give you a minty chill this summer.
Cucumber lime cocktail
If you thought that cucumber could never taste good in a drink, think again. With the very first sip, you’ll be hooked onto this yummy cocktail.
What you need: cucumber, fresh or dried basil leaves, ½ cup lemon juice, sugar syrup, lime wedges, ice, vodka
Steps:
1. Peel and slice the cucumber. Chill it in the freezer before you do so. Set two slices aside.
2. Put basil, two slices of cucumber and some ice in a cocktail shaker and shake.
3. Add this to the glass and pour in the sugar syrup, lemonade, and vodka.
4. Stir and add some fresh ice.
5. Garnish with some more basil and a lime wedge.
