Summary
Pune Metro is steadily transforming the city’s daily commute by offering smoother connections between Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Operated by MahaMetro, the network currently runs through the Purple and Aqua lines, supporting everyday travel from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Trains arrive at about 7-minute intervals during peak hours and at 10 to 15-minute intervals during off-peak hours. The fare bracket of ₹10 to ₹35 makes the system affordable while still providing clean stations, modern coaches, and convenient links to PMPML buses.

The Pune Metro is a modern rapid transit system designed to reduce traffic congestion and make daily travel faster across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Pune Metro train timings now operate on two main lines: the Purple (North–South) and Aqua (East–West), with daily service extended to 11:00 PM since January 2025. The upcoming Pink Line will further expand this reach and is expected to ease congestion for thousands of commuters. This influence on real estate is emerging as one of the network's most substantial advantages, as property prices have increased by 12-18% around the metro station, supporting property value appreciation and making the area attractive for both buyers and investors.
