Exciting News for Commuters: Namma Metro Yellow Line to Extend 20.5 km to Hosur by The End of 2024

In June 2022, the Karnataka government approved an extension of the Bengaluru Metro’s Yellow Line from its current last stop at Bommasandra to Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The Yellow Line of the Bangalore Metro will boast 16 stations, connecting areas like Electronic City and Jayadeva Hospital.  The Yellow Line, which is 19 km long and runs from RV Road to Bommasandra, is set to be up and running by the end of 2024. The proposed extension will add another 20.5 km to the line, with 11.5 km in Karnataka and 8.8 km in Tamil Nadu.
