A book nook needs to be well-lit. The last thing you want is strained eyes when reading in a space that is meant for reading. Invest in a good reading lamp and a powerful LED bulb. Invest well as it should fit in the décor of your home as well as provide quality light.
Comfortable seating
This depends on how you prefer to do your reading. Do you prefer a table and chair? A recliner? Or a day bed? Whichever one it is, make sure there is enough space to doze just in case you decide to, in between books. Here, again make sure that it doesn’t look out of place in your home and that it’s comfortable enough for you to spend hours in.
Cushions
Make your reading look good too,after all, that is what will make you feel good. Throw in some quirky cushions, they will brighten up the place and make you comfier. Cushions also help to add a bit of flair to your space.
