Bangalore, May 17, 2024: As the monsoon season approaches, Bengaluru residents are facing the looming threat of flooding. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the city’s civic authority, has identified 198 areas susceptible to flooding, raising concerns about resident safety and property damage.

According to BBMP reports, these flood-prone zones are spread across various zones of the city, with Mahadevapura, Bommanahalli, and RR Nagar being particularly vulnerable. While temporary measures have reportedly been implemented in 80 locations, a permanent solution remains elusive for the remaining 118 areas.
