Due to the COVID-19 pandemic over the past year, the lack of constructed and ready houses has delayed the government’s housing lottery. As per a news report by the Mumbai Mirror in 2021 for instance, the lotter is likely to be held this year in 2023 for which the registrations had begun from the end of 2021 itself.  The names of successful applicants in the draw will be published on 7th January 2023 on the MHADA site i.e. https://lottery.mhada.gov.in/.
