I live here with my family. There are decent schools and clinics close by. It's a developing area, so not too crowded yet. But water supply is sometimes an issue in summer.
I bought land here 10 years ago, back when it was mostly empty. Now it’s growing fast. Schools have opened up nearby. But with all the buildings coming up, cleanliness is becoming a problem.
I moved to Yewalewadi recently for work. The place is quiet and away from city chaos. Buses are available but not frequent. It’s okay if you have your own vehicle.
Rental demand is growing here because of nearby IT hubs. I bought a 1BHK flat. It gets rented fast.
Rents here are quite cheap compared to other parts of Pune. I pay 11k for a decent flat. Markets for daily vegetables and grocery are right outside on the street so everything is handy, plus the area feels quite safe even around 10 PM.
Living here is decent but travelling to Katraj or Hadapsar for office daily takes too much time. The main Yewalewadi road gets completely choked during morning rush hours. It is okay if you have your own bike, but public transport is very less.
Water supply is the biggest headache in this area. We get civic water only for 1 hour in the morning and sometimes pressure is very low. Rest of the day everyone relies on private tankers. Water timings should be fixed properly.
Lots of food options and small tea stalls near Sinhgad college campus area. Very chill vibe for students and room rents are also low. NGL the mobile network fluctuates a lot inside buildings, but otherwise life is sorted here.
The area has gotten very crowded now. Road near the Khadi Machine chowk always has massive traffic jams because of heavy trucks moving through. It is a good place for peaceful living, but those junctions are a total mess.
Good schools are close by so that saves a lot of travel time. The inner lanes are quiet and safe for walking in the evenings. Basic things like pharmacies and clinics are easily reachable within 5 minutes. Very happy staying here.
Garbage is just left on the roadside at multiple spots and nobody clears it regularly. It looks terrible and smells so bad. Streetlights on the internal roads do not work half the time, making the lanes pitch dark after 8 PM.
Got a property here at a good rate. Tenants are easy to find because of the nearby colleges and tech crowd looking for budget stays. Safe area with good ground water levels, so it is a solid place to park money.
Potholes on the main connecting roads are terrible. Every time I drive down here, my car gets rattled badly. No proper footpaths anywhere for walking, and local autos overcharge like anything because there are no meters running.
Power cuts happen very frequently here, especially during the monsoon season. Sometimes electricity goes off for 3 hours straight. The area is nice and green, but basic electricity and drainage issues are still a pain somehow managing.

I have a flat in Yewalewadi that I rent out. IT employees often ask for it because it’s close to NIBM and Kondhwa. There are small shops and clinics nearby. But not many options for big shopping or eating out.
