I have been renting here for about a year. The best thing is the peace and quiet. It is huge relief after a long day. The Rajiv Gandhi Salai gives me a straight access to work, and the rent is significantly cheaper.

Thiruporur is an affordable area, but getting around is a hassle if you don't have your own vehicle. I have to rely on buses from the Thiruporur Bus Stop, and they can be infrequent, especially at night. There isn't much to do here in terms of entertainment or good restaurants.

We moved here for more affordable homes. It's a safe and quiet area. However, the social infrastructure is still catching up. Sai Hospital is here for medical needs. Still, we have to travel a fair bit for any specialised medical care.
