Good locality if you're a student in nearby colleges. Although there's practically no social life or fun things to do around, it's peaceful and economical for students. Public transport is also limited so better to have your own vehicle.

We built a small home here 5 years ago. It’s been a calm place to live in, and we’ve seen gradual improvements like better street lighting and more homes around. But we had to install our own borewell and backup power since the basics are still lacking here

The value appreciation here is very gradual. It’s not for quick gains, but if you're patient and okay with slow development, it can be a safe investment.

I was here to check out land parcels. It felt more like a village extension than a proper suburb. The area is still underdeveloped in terms of basic civic infrastructure and ytransport facilities.

Erumaiyur is a calm and less crowded sub-urb located in South Chennai, close to Vandalur and Urapakkam. Quite and green environment with affordable housing rates and housing infrastructure in the outskirts of Chennai. Limited public transport to the city and no metro access yet to this place.
