As a student at Fergusson College, this area is convenient. The college is just 5 minutes from my PG, and multiple eateries are there. Yet, the lack of parking spaces is a constant issue here. The road gets crowded during afternoons too.

Living in Shaniwar Peth gives you unparalleled connectivity. Everything from Laxmi Road to Appa Balwant Chowk is within walking distance. However, the narrow lanes can get congested during peak hours, making commuting a bit challenging

The cultural and historic richness of the area adds value to my property. I have rented my 2 BHK here, and the demand is always high. mostly from students at Furgusson College which is walkable from here. The infrastructure is growing and multiple shops and malls are here.

Have been living here since 2007, and the area has its own set of positives and problems. Lanes are narrow and better road developments are needed, but looking back, I realise there's a lot of positive changes. Plenty of local stores and malls have been developed. The Tulsi Baug Market makes the area all the more vibrant and joyful. You also get to enjoy historic temples nearby, and Shaniwar Wada is just a few minutes away from our home.

We have visited Shaniwar Wada and it's located at the heart of this locality. I have also explored the Tulsi Baug market here. The area is definitely a mix of modern and traditionality. It's historic but also offers essential modern infrastructure.
