This place has an old Pune charm. It's filled with historical landmarks and museums, and I absolutely love residing here. Everything is easily accessible - schools, hospitals, colleges, IT parks, malls. We often go to The Pavilion Mall during weekends, and it's lovely.

My office is in Matrix IT Park, and it hardly takes me 10 minutes to reach there. I either take an auto or go by bus. It's a simple ride. Rest, the area is beautiful and clean. Very safe for families and singles. I live alone in a 1 BHK, and all basic essentials are close by, so it's convenient, but only if you ignore the traffic sometimes.

I work in Shivajinagar but chose to take a rental 1 BHK here because of the rent. It's very cheap and affordable as compared to some key areas in Pune. It's merely 3 km from my office, so it's not a big issue. Also, I love visiting Shaniwar Wada on Sundays with my friends. It's just 1.4 km from my place.

The place screams old aesthetics. I have always loved living in Pune, and I think this area has a huge role in my admiration for Pune. It's not extremely fancy or posh like Koregaon Park or Hinjewadi, but it's a quiet and peaceful place with all necessary things. There are plenty of recreational spots here and fun things to do during weekends.

I have visited this area a couple of times with my friends and once with my family. We've explored Shaniwar Wada, Raja Dinkar Museum, and Empress Botanical Garden, and loved all of them. the streets look joyful and vibrant during weekends and evenings. There are lots of pretty cafes here too, which I am planning to visit sometime.
