The rent here is way cheaper than nearby Wakad or Tathawade. Plus, my 1BHK is spacious with decent ventilation. But the internal roads aren’t great, especially during monsoon as they flood and get messy. There are very few eateries or cafes nearby, so you always need to go a bit far.
What I like most is that it’s not overly crowded. But the area is still under development. There’s no proper grocery store within walking distance, and street lighting is limited in some lanes.
Night shifts are common in my job, so I liked how calm and traffic-free the area is when I return home at odd hours. My PG here is clean, secure, and affordable. But the area gets dark at night. No CCTV on the roads, and very few shops open late.
