It is a calm, suburban area with lots of open spaces. The local roads are quiet. It lacks proper public transport options, and getting around without a vehicle can be tricky.

Kolhewadi is not as crowded as some of the other parts of Pune, but that’s what makes it ideal for families. The downside is that there are not too many entertainment options. It is good for those who prefer a quieter lifestyle.
