It is a peaceful locality in Pune but lacks high-end cafes and shopping malls. Essential facilities like schools, IT parks, hospitals, banks, etc. are all nearby though. The rent is also cheap and cost-effective.

I moved to a 1 BHK here at Rs. 10,000, and it's pretty reasonable considering the infrastructure. There is Khadakwasla Lake nearby, which is my usual weekend spot. But there's no direct metro from here, so you have to take bus or autos.

Been living here since 2015, and the area has developed a lot. It's an ideal place for families, as there are colleges, schools, hospitals, within a few minutes. Metro access is not there, so if you have your own vehicle then you're good here. otherwise you'll have trouble getting public transport.

My partner and I moved here in 2019 after my retirement, and living here has been very peaceful. We often go to Khadakwasla Lake during weekends, and also visit Samarth Park sometimes. There are tons of peaceful things to do nearby, like museums, parks, etc. You can also go to temples and nearby hilltops for a fun retreat.

My friends and I visited the lake in this area after our semester, and totally loved the area. I was hoping we could get direct metro but we had to come by auto which came out expensive. Anyway, it was a fun getway but some lanes are very dark and not well-lit so I think that's a minor drawback.
