Owning a home here was affordable. The area has grown with schools and hospitals nearby now. However, public transport could be better.

I’ve been renting a 2BHK in Kandigai for two years. It’s peaceful and the cost of living is low. While shops are slightly far, the calm surroundings make up for it.

Kandigai offers good plots at entry-level pricing. I’m seeing gradual appreciation and expect higher returns in five years.

We built a house in Kandigai due to its serene vibe. There’s less noise and traffic compared to other parts of Chennai. But yes, it is not ideal for nightlife lovers.

As a student, I found Kandigai ideal. It's close to my college and hostel rents are reasonable. Fewer cafes though.
