Kalyan West is a nice peaceful area to live in. But I face issues with transportation. There is no metro directly from here and buses are not frequent and always crowded too.

Very safe and quiet area. There are many hotels and markets nearby. But compared to thane or navi mumbai, this feels lacking in many amenities. There are few cafes and high end malls and even entertainment zones

One thing I like about the area is many developers are now coming up with gated townships with modern amenities like recreation things and landscaped gardens. this improves the lifestyle. But my complaint is the road conditions. many parts have potholes and poor drainage

Some low lying or new construction areas suffer from dust and too much noise which disrupts the peace. also the transport facilities should improve with metro expansion

The real estate market here keeps fluctuating. Rental demand is steady but the limited connectivity options drive away potential tenants

We've been residing in Kalyan West for some time now and it's been very accommodating for us as a family, having Fortis Hospital nearby offered a lot of reassurance and most necessities are either a short walk or rickshaw ride away. It has felt like a comfortable place to settle down.
