One thing I appreciate is the Thane Station nearby within 4 km. also the kalva junction is around 2 km away. This helps with the commute but you cant ignore the congested lanes and lack of proper public parking in many blocks

Traffic near the flyover can get heavy sometimes. But once you're inside the lanes, its quiet and lively

Kalwa is affordable. The area isnt posh but its close to Thane which works fine for me. Still some roads are difficult to get through by walking as so many potholes are here and another major drawback is the waterlogging issues

Capital appreciation is slower but the good thing is the upgraded infrastructure lately like better roads in many blocks. It's also budget friendly and Thane proximity is also an advantage

Noise levels have increased recently, especially around the Kalva junction and other market areas. Also street lighting can be improved in some parts as the area gets pretty dark after 8 pm.
