सुपे हा पुणे जिल्ह्याच्या बारामती तालुक्यात असलेला कृषी व औद्योगिकदृष्ट्या महत्त्वाचा परिसर आहे. हे बारामती एमआयडीसी क्षेत्राच्या जवळ आहे. या औद्योगिक वसाहतीमुळे परिसरात रोजगाराच्या उत्तम संधी उपलब्ध आहेत. हा भाग शेती आणि कृषी-आधारित व्यवसायांसाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. यामुळे येथील स्थानिक अर्थव्यवस्थेला स्थिरता मिळते. जिल्हा परिषद शाळा , कला, वाणिज्य आणि विज्ञान महाविद्यालय , प्राथमिक आरोग्य केंद्र गावामध्येच उपलब्ध आहे.

I shifted to Supe Kh. because I wanted a quieter place away from crowded Pune areas. The village atmosphere is peaceful, and people are friendly. Daily essentials are available nearby.

Supe Kh. is good if someone prefers a simple and calm lifestyle. Roads connecting to Saswad and Narayanpur are manageable, but public transport frequency can improve. For bigger hospitals or malls, we still travel towards Saswad or Pune side.

Land prices are still reasonable compared to Pune suburbs. Connectivity through NH-965 and the growing Saswad belt gives future appreciation potential. Buyer interest for plots and independent houses has slowly increased in recent years.

Living near the Kaal River side has been very relaxing for our family. The area feels open and less polluted compared to city locations. Schools like Purandar High School and Shivaji English Medium School are nearby.

  • Climb Purandar Fort: This is the main attraction, about 8 km from the village. The fort is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The climb starts from Narayanpur village. The path is around 2 to 2.5 km long and takes 45 minutes to about an hour and a half. The fort is run by the Indian Army, so you must carry your Aadhaar card or PAN card. Entry is allowed only from 9 AM to 5 PM. In some parts, you have to leave your phone and camera at the Army counter.
  • See the old temple at Narayanpur: Narayanpur is about 4 to 5 km away. It has the Narayaneshwar Temple, a very old stone temple with carved walls and a step water tank. Next to it is the Prati Balaji Temple. It is a quiet copy of the Tirupati Balaji temple and is good for a family visit on weekends.
  • Walk around Saswad town: Saswad is the nearest town, just about 3 km away. This is also where people from Supe Kh. go for daily needs. You can walk through the old market lanes and see the Peshwa-time wadas. There are old temples here too, like Sangameshwar Temple and Karhabai Temple by the Karha River. Saswad has also won a national award for being a clean town, so it is nice to walk around.
