North Ghaziabad
Pincode- 201003
Sector 19 in Kamla Nehru Nagar falls under PIN code 201002 and sits in the prime central-eastern pocket of Ghaziabad. The locality is bordered by Kavi Nagar, Raj Nagar, and Sanjay Nagar, with the premier Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy (RAKNPA) and the CBI Academy serving as central geographic landmarks. Reputed institutions such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Kamla Nehru Nagar and Sarvodaya Hospital are within easy reach, adding to the area's family-friendly appeal. Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda) metro station on the Red Line is the nearest metro stop, about 3.5 km away, while Hapur Road connects residents directly to central Ghaziabad and onward to Delhi-NCR. Property prices here range from Rs. 4,200 to Rs. 7,800 per sq ft, and the locality continues to see steady rental demand from government officials and working professionals commuting across Ghaziabad and Delhi.
RDC market is very close for hangout spots, cheap eateries, and stationary items. E-rickshaws run frequently all day long. Everything basic is accessible without spending too much money. IMO it is a solid location for students.
Water supply across the sector comes for barely 2 hours in the morning. Drainage pipes get choked quickly whenever it rains, leaving slush on internal streets. Municipal maintenance in this pocket really needs to improve.
Footfall near local corner shops is decent enough. But delivery trucks face a hard time because double-parked vehicles block the internal turns during daytime. Space on secondary sector roads is getting tighter every month.
The area is super peaceful compared to main central Ghaziabad. Catching an auto near the CBI Academy gate stretch is never an issue. Streets are well lit at night, so coming back late from office feels completely safe.
Strong rental demand round the year due to proximity to government institutes, Sanjay Nagar, and Red Line metro. Independent floors here get taken up very fast, making it a reliable area for steady rental income.
Walking in the evenings is getting harder because people park cars on both sides of narrow sector lanes. Footpaths are either missing or occupied by scooters. Streetlights in the back alleys keep flickering constantly...
Finding visitor parking inside Sector 19 on weekends is an absolute nightmare. The intersection connecting towards Hapur Road gets choked badly around 7 PM. Also, open dust along the road turns annoying during dry winds.
Garbage collection vans come almost every morning now, so main sector lanes stay fairly clean. However, overhead wire clutter looks messy and low-lying spots still get waterlogged during heavy rains.
Kendriya Vidyalaya and Sarvodaya Hospital are right within quick driving distance, which is very reassuring. Daily milk and fresh vegetables are easily available at the neighborhood entry shops. Wish there were bigger maintained parks nearby though.

Shaheed Sthal Metro Station is roughly 10 minutes away by e-rickshaw, which makes the morning commute easy. Renting here is quite pocket friendly, paid 10k for my 2BHK. Hapur Road traffic gets jammed during peak evening hours though.
