Tulasi Niketan is a residential locality in Bhopura, Sahibabad, on the western fringe of Ghaziabad. The PIN code of Tulasi Niketan, Ghaziabad is 201006. It borders Dilshad Garden, Karawal Nagar, and Shalimar Garden, sitting almost on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh boundary along the Hindon River belt. The Faith Academy M.D.S Public School and V Care Hospital serve residents within a kilometre or two of most homes here. Dilshad Garden on the Red Line is the nearest metro station, about 4.8 km away, and Mangal Pandey Marg is the primary route running through the locality. Property rates here range from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 5,200 per sq ft, and the area draws steady rental demand from families working in East Delhi and Ghaziabad's industrial belt.
Autos overcharge a lot from Dilshad Garden metro late at night. Drainage near internal roads gets choked whenever it rains heavy. Rent here is low like 8k but road condition inside is quite bad... daily ride is a headache.
Finding parking near the main market lane is a struggle on weekends. But street food options near Bhopura circle are really nice and cheap. Area stays busy till 10 PM so walking around feels safe enough.
Very practical area to stay if working near Seemapuri side. Buses from Harsh Vihar terminal are frequent and save money. Grocery prices in local shops are cheap, overall monthly expenses stay well within budget.
Rent yield is okayish for cheap flats, but street cleanliness is a big problem. Garbage dumping on corners looks terrible. Unless civic body cleans up internal roads properly, property demand will stay average here.
Water supply comes for barely 2 hours in the morning. Traffic jam near Bhopura chowk during rush hour takes 30 minutes just to cross 1 km. Too noisy, too dusty, really regret shifting here RN.
Local clinics and medical stores near the main street are plenty, so emergency needs are sorted. Quiet inside the residential lanes away from main road. Sometimes streetlights do not work, otherwise decent place to live.
Too much crowd on the narrow internal streets. E-rickshaws block the whole road near the bus stop area. IMO walking here in the evening is annoying because there are zero proper footpaths for pedestrians.
Everything needed for daily life is within walking distance. Local park area is well kept for morning walks and kids playing. Peaceful environment compared to heavy traffic zones nearby, totally satisfied with staying here.
Electricity cuts happen frequently during summer peak hours... very frustrating. Roads inside have deep potholes that nobody repairs. Water quality is also bad, we have to depend on private RO filters completely.

Shops for daily veggies and groceries are right inside the colony area, so that is very easy. Getting to Dilshad Garden metro station takes barely 10 minutes by auto. Water timing is fine, only issue is evening traffic near the main Bhopura road.
