RPC Layout is a small residential neighborhood, situated within Hoshalli Extension in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. The pin code of RPC Layout is 560104. Some nearby areas include Binny Pete, Bapuji Nagar, and Kempapura Agrahara close to the bustling Chord Road. The neighborhood offers a family-friendly vibe with proximity to The New Cambridge High School, GT World Mall, Kangaroo Care Hospital, and Hoshalli Park. Public transportation is robust with Vijayanagar Metro Station on the Purple Line, 1 km away. In 2026, the property rate is around Rs. 11,500 per sq ft for builder floors and independent houses.
Property values have appreciated significantly since the Metro line became fully operational. i’ve lived in several parts of Bangalore, but the comfort and connectivity here are hard to beat.
Traffic is as usual typical blr vibe..but its not so bad as the popular areas..My only complaint is that visitor parking can be a nightmare on the weekends due to the popular cafes
Except the water supply issue, i haven't had any major ick here so far.. it seemes like a comfortable area
its great to have lot of temples around but i do miss the parks and greneery of Jp nagar sometimes
its a very dense area. a lot more humid than areas with more parks and trees..It's a very practical, low stress place to live.
The biggest challenge we face is the limited parking space in the narrow cross-streets. While the main Raman Thottam roads are okay, the interior lanes struggle with visitor cars.
The inclusion of the area into the core Chennai Corporation limits has improved the long-term outlook for public services.I recommend looking at corner plots or properties near the main connectivity points for the highest resale value
safety in Raman Thottam is one of its best features..I never worry when my kids play outside. We are very close to major hospitals like Bharat Hospital, which is a big relief for medical emergencies.
The roads get a bit messy during the monsoon especially near the lower lying spots.
Finally settled in RPC Layout. The rent was reasonable for the location, and having the metro within walking distance has made office travel much easier.
The locality has retained its residential charm, and property values have remained strong.
The biggest relief for us is the school commute. My daughter studies at The New Cambridge High School, and she reaches school in under 10 minutes on most mornings.
Chord Road decides how long it takes me to get home. Once the evening rush begins, traffic near Vijayanagar can turn a short drive into a slow crawl...
Twenty years of living in RPC Layout has taught me one thing. Location matters. I can quickly reach hospitals, schools and shopping areas without leaving this side of the city.
Frequent visits to Kangaroo Care Hospital have been easy to manage. It's only a few minutes away, so my family doesn't have to worry about long journeys for every appointment.
Most of my weekends here end with a visit to GT World Mall. The locality itself is peaceful, though parking around the mall gets difficult during evenings and holidays.
Builder floors near Vijayanagar Metro Station always catch my attention. I've noticed homes in RPC Layout receive consistent buyer enquiries because people value the metro connectivity.
The Purple Line has made my college commute much simpler. I usually board at Vijayanagar Metro Station, but the trains get packed during the morning office rush.
Evening hours are when my bakery sees the most customers. Office-goers returning from Vijayanagar Metro Station and local families keep business steady almost every weekday.
