Press Colony is one of those typical old Faridabad colonies with narrow lanes, lots of small houses and shops everywhere. Grocery stores and sabzi vendors are literally around every corner. But parking is a menace in many streets

Living here is fine. There are schools like Modern Oxford Public School and a bunch of small clinics around, so its manageable as a family. But if you’re expecting modern apartments or wide roads, you’ll be disappointed. Most houses are older constructions.

The location is actually good if you work in the NIT industrial belt. My office is barely 10 minutes away. Escorts Mujesar metro is a short drive too so commuting toward Delhi is possible too

My biggest issue living here was drainage during monsoon. Some lanes get waterlogged if it rains heavily. Apart from that the neighborhood is safe enough and people mostly know each other, which gives it that old colony vibe.

The main demand here comes from local families and people working in nearby industrial areas. If someone wants to invest in Faridabad purely for appreciation, newer sectors in Greater Faridabad might have more upside.
