I stay near Vakil Lane, so India Gate is my evening run spot. There are wide lawns, well-lit lanes and cops around. It feels very safe till late. Parking is tight on weekends. Ice-cream vans, chaat, and clean pathways. Not a living area, but as a public space, it is top-tier.

I found no residential property for sale. It’s a national monument zone. But rentals around Pandara Road, Khan Market and India Gate circle hold value due to prestige and green views. Tourist footfall is huge.

We’re a short distance away from the India Gate. Lighting, security, and pathways are better than before. Parking fills up fast, we prefer early mornings. National days bring barricades and diversions.

Weekend mornings are best around India Gate. You get a clear view of the arch and the Rajpath axis to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Evenings get packed, vendors everywhere. Blue line, Violet line, Yellow line, and Airport Express line metro stations are located within walking distance.
