Area is fine for evening walks near Central Park, very open and pleasant. Roads are wide but cars drive too fast near Radial Road 1. Crossings need better signals because crossing with small kids feels unsafe during peak traffic hours.
Takes me barely 5 minutes to reach Rajiv Chowk metro from my place, which saves huge time daily. Getting autos here is never a problem. Fast food joints and pharmacies are everywhere. Just too busy on Sunday afternoons, otherwise total peace.
Main problem here is auto drivers blocking the lane near Odeon Cinema side, creates unnecessary jams. Garbage collection is regular, streetlights work fine. It is loud throughout the day, but you get used to the city hustle after some time.
Morning time is peaceful for walking around the corridors before shops open. Footpaths are wide enough, though some paved blocks are broken and loose. Street lights stay on properly at night, so walking after dinner feels quite safe.
Finding parking for my car near Block A is pure headache after 4 PM. Better to take the metro or just hire a cab. Food options are top notch, love coming here for evening coffee with friends.
Commercial value here stays solid always. High footfall around Rajiv Chowk entrance keeps retail demand high. Rental yield is steady... maintenance charges in old structures can be bit high though. Overall solid place to hold property.
Staying in a PG nearby is super chill. Tons of cheap street food spots and momo stalls near the inner lanes. Buses from CP bus stop go everywhere in Delhi. Weekend crowd gets a bit annoying, otherwise zero complaints TBH.
Deliveries coming into A Block during afternoon hours always get stuck in traffic near the inner circle signal. Loaders struggle to find space to unload stuff. Market gets good footfall, but bad traffic management hurts business daily.
