Vishal Nagar is a vibrant residential locality in Pimple Nilakh, in the western corridor of Pune. The PIN code for Vishal Nagar is 411027. It borders Kaspate Wasti, Samarth Colony, and Kalewadi Phata, and sits along New DP Road, Aundh-Ravet BRTS Road, and NH-48. Sanskara International School, Golden Care Hospital, and Phoenix Mall of the Millennium are within a walking distance. The neighbourhood is mid-segment, family-friendly, and well-connected with active local markets. Kasarwadi Metro Station on the Purple Line is 7.5 km away, with bus access via Chondhe Lawns Bus Stop and Wakad Phata Bus Stop. Khadki Railway Station is 8.3 km away, and Pune International Airport is 17.7 km away. Property rates in Vishal Nagar range from Rs. 6,500 to Rs. 16,500 per sq. ft. for 1 to 3 BHK apartments and builder floors, with steady buyer demand.
Vishal Nagar has grown steadily, mostly mid-rise apartments and builder floors. Prices have climbed quietly over the years. It's not high-end, but there's always someone looking to rent. Good for steady income, especially if you’re targeting young professionals.
I live in a rented 1 BHK here and walk to work in Balewadi. That’s a huge plus. The streets are narrow in parts and parking is always a bit of a struggle. But the convenience outweighs the cons. Also, a lot of new cafés are coming up here, which is nice.
Living in Vishal Nagar has been easygoing. The area has grown a lot, with new stores, pharmacies, and bakeries everywhere. Some bylanes are a bit crowded and garbage pickup isn’t always regular. Still, it’s peaceful inside the society and people are helpful.
I invested in a 2BHK here in 2017. The returns haven’t been explosive, but rental demand stays consistent due to IT folks working nearby. Location-wise, it sits neatly between Baner and Wakad.
I’ve been renting out my flat here for 6 years now. Never had it sit empty for more than a few weeks. IT crowd keeps the demand alive. The only thing I’d want improved is the streetlight situation in interior lanes.
Good mid-segment area for west Pune. Rents are fair and the locality has a proper residential feel. Mall is walkable, hospital close by. Metro is a fair distance out so a vehicle is necessary for daily use.
Vishal Nagar has stayed residential without getting too commercial which is what we wanted. School nearby, hospital close, NH-48 for longer travel. Comfortable pocket in west Pune, no major complaints since we moved in.
IT parks along this corridor are a short ride most days. Traffic near the Phata stretches picks up in the evenings but manageable otherwise. Metro being 7 km out means you are fully dependent on your vehicle here.
Watched the area grow steadily over the years. Still has a calm feel inside the colony despite all the development around it. The one consistent issue is water supply timing going off some months. Otherwise comfortable.
Good school within walking distance and the mall nearby is handy for weekends. Safe streets, not too congested inside. Area suits family life well, nothing feels rushed or chaotic on a daily basis.
West Pune demand has been consistent and Vishal Nagar sits in a well-connected part of that belt. Wide price range gives entry at different points. Steady appreciation and good rental interest from IT professionals nearby.
Phoenix Mall makes this area worth a trip. Easy via NH-48, calm inside once off the main road.
Dnyansagar College and Genba Moze Engineering are close. Honestly the biggest draw is Phoenix Mall nearby because everything else for a student, food, daily needs, weekend plans, gets sorted right there without going far. PG rents are decent for west Pune.
Weekend mall crowd and daily residential density together keep things active through the week. NH-48 handles most movement well. Inner lanes near the Phata get congested during peak hours which can slow things down on busy days.
Quiet inside the colony, hospital very close by, mall nearby for anything you need without travelling far. Mornings are calm and walkable. One of the more comfortable west Pune pockets for this stage of life.

I’ve been staying in Vishal Nagar for 8 months now. It’s a good fit if you’re working in Hinjewadi or Baner. Commute is manageable, especially with bike taxis. Plenty of small cafés and tea spots around. The lanes can get busy in the evenings, though. Grocery stores are walkable, and the area feels pretty safe even at night.
