Rents around 11k for a 2BHK in Vikash Nagar Extension are very pocket friendly. E-rickshaws to Uttam Nagar West metro station are easily available at the main corner. The internal streets get crowded in the evening, but basic daily market shops are right outside.

Water supply timing across Hastsal side is given for just two hours in the morning. MCD garbage trucks do not clear the open dumped heaps near Pradhan Chowk regularly. Street roads are full of potholes, making driving a car here a daily frustration.

Local vegetable vendors and small grocery shops near Shiv Vihar road make everyday shopping easy. Area feels safe enough to walk around in the evening and schools are close by. Auto rickshaws to Nawada metro station are cheap, so getting around is manageable.

Peak hour traffic jam near Uttam Nagar Terminal and Najafgarh Road stretch is pure stress daily. Takes almost 25 minutes just to get out of the colony lanes in a car. Commuting via Uttam Nagar East metro is the only realistic way to reach office on time.

Drains along the main market lanes overflow during monsoon rains and make streets slushy. Power cuts happen occasionally during summer afternoons. But the area is settled, neighbourly, and day to day living costs here stay very low compared to other West Delhi pockets.

Vikash Nagar Extension is fairly quiet away from the main road. Local chemists and small clinics near Hastsal Chowk are close by for routine medicines. Footpaths are broken in places, but overall morning walks inside the inner lanes are easy and peaceful.

Parking a car along these tight internal streets is a massive headache on weekends. People double park near local shops without any space left. TBH better to take an e-rickshaw from Uttam Nagar West metro station than bring your own vehicle here.

Rental demand in Vikash Nagar Extension is consistently high due to affordable rates and close proximity to Blue Line metro stations. Independent floors get tenants super fast. Property prices are low, so rental yields and capital growth stay very reliable.

Renting a room here is super cheap for students on a budget. Local dhabas and food stalls near Hastsal road are very cheap. E-rickshaws to Nawada metro cost barely 15 or 20 rupees. NGL street lighting in some back lanes needs serious improvement at night...

Delivery auto tempos get stuck in narrow lanes near Marble Block side due to double-parked cars. Moving goods in and out during evening market hours is a constant struggle. Local footfall is good, but poor road conditions and jams make daily business operations irritating.
