परिसर शांत आहे, पण चढ-उताराचे रस्ते असल्याने चालताना त्रास होतो. लाईफपॉईंट हॉस्पिटल जवळ असल्याने वैद्यकीय सोय आहे. मात्र, अंतर्गत भागात सार्वजनिक वाहतूक (PMPML) मिळत नाही. विरंगुळ्यासाठी जवळच्या बाणेर टेकडीवर जाणे शक्य नसलेल्या ज्येष्ठांना स्वतःच्या वाहनाशिवाय बाहेर पडणे कठीण जाते.

मुलांच्या शिक्षणासाठी आदित्य इंटरनॅशनल आणि वेदांत शाळा जवळ आहेत. बाणेर फाटा बाजार खरेदीसाठी सोयीचा आहे. पण, या भागात पिण्याच्या पाण्याची मोठी समस्या असून सोसायट्यांना टँकरवर खूप खर्च करावा लागतो. पावसाळ्यात कचरा व्यवस्थापन विस्कळीत झाल्यामुळे काही ठिकाणी दुर्गंधीचा सामना करावा लागतो

हिंजवडी आयटी पार्क आणि मुंबई-पुणे हायवे जवळ असल्याने गुंतवणुकीसाठी हा भाग उत्तम आहे. घरांना मागणी चांगली आहे, पण रस्ते अरुंद असल्याने वाहतूक कोंडी वाढत आहे. महापालिकेच्या पाणीपुरवठ्याचे ठोस नियोजन नसल्यामुळे मालमत्तेचे व्हॅल्यूएशन वाढण्यात अडथळे येतात आणि मेंटेनन्सचा खर्च वाढतो.

विद्यार्थी म्हणून मला येथील शैक्षणिक कनेक्टिव्हिटी सर्वात जास्त आवडते. येथून डी.वाय. पाटील युनिव्हर्सिटी (आकुर्डी) आणि पिंपरी चिंचवड इंजिनिअरिंग कॉलेज जवळ असल्याने प्रवासाचा वेळ वाचतो. जवळच आकुर्डी रेल्वे स्टेशन असून परिसरात अनेक स्वस्त मेस व वाचनालये आहेत, ज्यामुळे अभ्यासासाठी येथे अतिशय पोषक वातावरण मिळते.
