I've been living in Shankar Kalat Nagar for a year. The area is peaceful and well-connected to Wakad and Hinjewadi. Public transport is available but gets crowded during peak hours. The roads are decent and there are enough grocery shops nearby.

The locality is family-friendly and has multiple play parks for kids. Security is decent, and the streets are well-lit at night. However, auto rickshaws are a bit overcharged during rush hours.

I built my home in Shankar Kalat Nagar for long-term living. Schools and hospitals are within a 3–5 km range. It’s perfect for those looking to settle down in a Mid-Premium, calm area.

I rented out my flat to an IT couple working in Phase 2, Hinjewadi. Steady rental income and low vacancy rate. Slight traffic issues in the evenings, but nothing major. Water supply and electricity are consistent.

Living here as a bachelor, I find it convenient. Decent food joints, a gym nearby, and fast internet availability. My only complaint is the lack of a large shopping complex nearby.
