Peak traffic at Madhuban Chowk is very worse, it's like bumper to bumper daily. If you go by bike you still get stuck for 20 mins easily. Roads have too many potholes...tired of this daily struggle to reach work.
Area is green and peaceful away from main roads. DDA blocks are decently maintained, basic supplies available at local shops inside sector. Water comes only 2 hours morning and evening though, so overhead tank management is much needed.
Footpaths are broken everywhere or blocked by parked cars. Walking safely is very difficult now. Young boys drive bikes at high speed inside residential lanes.
Parking your car here on weekends is huge pain. Internal lanes are super narrow and packed with vehicles. Shops and small eateries are decent though, you get all food items easily near the main market area.
Rents around D Block Avantika are decent for West Delhi. But catching an auto near Bhagwan Mahavir Marg signal in the evening peak hours is pure headache. Drivers demand 80 rupees for short drops to Rohini West metro.
Imo...this place is so boring for students. Very less street food options late night. E-rickshaws charge 20 rupees even for short distances from Rohini East metro station... monthly budget gets ruined totally.
Driving down to meet friends near Japanese Park side is fine during weekdays, but finding a parking spot on Saturday evening is pure headache. Internal lanes get blocked by cars totally... better to take an e-rickshaw from the metro.
