I built my house here five years ago, and the area calm. It's well-connected to Guduvanchery and Urapakkam, so we can access all facilities within a short drive.

It’s affordable and relatively peaceful in this area and a lot of small shops coming up. But you’ll need your own vehicle as bus service is limited in the area.

Our home is part of a small layout, and it’s been a good experience. We have regular borewell water, and the roads have slowly improved.

There’s less dust and traffic than city areas. Public transport could improve, but local autos and shared rides are available.

Rent is affordable, and the community is friendly. Not much nightlife or fancy restaurants, but that’s okay

Peace and lower rent were exactly what I was looking for. After checking a few places around Guduvancheri, I found a larger house close to Nellikuppam Road within my budget, and the surroundings are much quieter.

We bought a residential plot here 5 years ago. At that time, the locality was much less developed, but seeing new homes come up around us has made the decision feel worthwhile.

Dropping my daughter off at SRM Valliammai Engineering College isn't part of my routine yet, but getting my younger son to the nearby school is. The shorter commute has made weekday mornings far less hectic.

The biggest challenge isn't the locality, it's the drive towards Guduvancheri. During office hours, the roads leading out get noticeably slower, so I usually leave home before the rush begins...

Over the last ten years, I've watched this stretch slowly develop with more houses and shops. Even with the growth, it has managed to keep the calm atmosphere that first attracted us.

Frequent hospital visits have become much easier since SRM General Hospital is within a reasonable distance. At my age, having dependable medical care close by is a huge advantage.

Whenever I visit my relatives here, the first thing I notice is how much quieter it feels than central Chennai. The only drawback is that public buses aren't very frequent.

Affordable plots are becoming difficult to find around Chennai. That's one reason I've been keeping an eye on Nellikuppam Road, especially properties with easier access to Kayarambedu Road.

Catching the morning bus has become part of my daily routine. I travel towards SRM College of Nursing, and missing one bus usually means waiting quite a while for the next service.

Most of my customers are local residents rather than passers-by. I run a small provision store near Nellikuppam Road, and evenings are when families usually stop by for daily essentials.
