About Narela, New Delhi

Narela is a rapidly developing sub-city located in the far north of Delhi, bearing PIN code 110040, right on the Delhi–Haryana border. Bordered by Bawana, Alipur, and Holambi Kalan, this planned DDA sub-city sits along the historic Rani ka Talab, a centuries-old heritage pond that anchors the older part of the settlement. Key social amenities are close at hand, with Sushila Hospital and several CBSE-affiliated schools like the Kasturi Ram International School serving residents within a few kilometres. Public transport is set to transform here: the upcoming Narela Metro Station on the Red Line extension will bring the Delhi Metro directly into the locality, while NH-44 (GT Karnal Road) connects it to the rest of the capital and onward to Haryana. Property rates in Narela currently range from Rs. 3,100 to Rs. 7,300 per sq ft, and the locality's affordability, combined with its industrial base and expanding DDA housing stock, continues to sustain steady rental demand from working-class and first-time buyer segments.

The new sectors developed by DDA are well-planned with wide roads and parks. However, the area feels disconnected from the rest of Delhi. The lack of shopping malls and good restaurants is a big drawback.

Narela is a great location for industries due to its connectivity to Haryana and the availability of labour. The government's support for the industrial sector here is also good. The area is very functional, but the infrastructure needs improvement.

Getting to central Delhi is a daily struggle. The metro station is far away, and the last-mile connectivity is poor. The roads are congested, and it takes forever to get anywhere. This is a major problem for anyone working outside Narela.

Narela is an affordable housing hub in Delhi. The DDA has built thousands of flats here. The rental demand from the industrial workforce is steady. It’s a market for high volume and low margins, not for luxury investments.

I work in the Narela Industrial Area, and living here is very convenient. The rent is cheap, and my commute is just a few minutes. The local markets like Jhanda Chowk Market and Narela Sabzi Mandi have everything I need for daily life.

Lovely area to live in. Lot of PGs and apartments here so feels safe and residential. there are sports clubs, parks, malls and many cafes nearby

Noble Enclave is a dense area with lot of buildings and pgs. some roads are packed and feel congested though. But i like there are so many green spots nearby. and local markets and gyms too

Narela station is 5 min walk. Train to work is max aura. Rent 5k for real. Evening traffic near the grain market is straight up L though.

Big park near DDA pockets is mid key peaceful in the morning. Grocery shops right downstairs, zero effort. Water timing is cooked though, comes for 1 hr only.

Main road near Lampur flyover has NPC driver behavior. Potholes everywhere during rains. But local clinics and shops are right here so it’s fine I guess.

Bus stand is right here so travel to Azadpur is light work. Cheap street food everywhere. But dust near the industrial side gives major ick.

Anaj Mandi area has everything cheap, W prices no cap. Grocery run takes 2 mins. But evening power cuts are so skibidi... full rage quit moments.

Walking on footpaths near Sector A6 is impossible, full of parked autos. Zero aura. Only W is the pharmacy guy delivers to the door.

Pulling up here for market stuff is lowkey a vibe, cheap AF. But parking my bike without it getting scraped by e-rickshaws gives me insane anxiety FR.

Rent demand from factory workers is high, steady returns IMO. But road condition in monsoon is cooked. Massive red flag for long term value.

PG for 4k with food included, life is sorted! Fast food spots right outside. Highkey noisy with all the honking, but for budget life it slaps.

Footfall near market lane is high, sales are absolute W. But delivery trucks getting stuck near Singhu border road delays my stock daily. Logistics are cooked.
