We built our house here 20 years ago when it was all farmland. It’s developed beautifully over the years into a quiet residential area. But the only shortcoming for me is that we don’t have any proper park in walking distance. Seniors like me have to make do with temple premises or walk along the road which is risky.
Love this place. Not posh or vibrant but gives a calm vibe. Essential shops, tiffin centers, Kirana stores, and even medical stores are within walking distance.
The demand for rental homes is decent. I’ve kept my 2BHK on rent continuously with barely any vacancy. It is one of those under-the-radar places that’s slowly and quietly appreciated over the years. It still lacks those premium infrastructure like good malls and lifestyle amenities like parks and clubs nearby.
Overall, a nice place but there's no proper supermarket in the locality itself. D-Mart and Spencer’s are a 10-15 min away. Internal lanes are also not in best condition. water logging is common during monsoon.
Despite these challenges, Mallikarjuna Nagar continues to grow as an attractive residential destination, promising a comfortable and convenient lifestyle for its residents.

Renting a 2 BHK here. I moved here because it seemed peaceful and residential, also close enough to major hubs like Bowenpally and Suchitra. My office in Begumpet is just a 30-minute drive. Public transport isn’t the best. Buses are nor reliable so I have to depend on autos or my Activa.
