Rent is affordable here but the main issue is the lack of public transport. Autos are hard to find and there's only one bus stop nearby. The absence of metro is a big limitation.

I bought a plot in Malaipattu because of the spillover demand from Oragadam Road. Prices are still low but gradually picking up as industries are expanding nearby

Not everyone will lile living here. For me, it's a decent area if you value privacy and don’t mind the lack of nightlife or cafes.

We’ve been living here since 2018. The neighborhood is friendly, and land prices have doubled, but infrastructure is still lagging. Roads are bad, street lighting is not enough so safety can be a concern. Drainage system is poor so waterlogging is persistent.
