Kokan Nagar is a great area. very safe and livable. inner streets are good to walk on but i have noticed some blocks have irresponsible garbage dumping on random places.

Been here ever since i moved to Mumbai. It has a warm feeling. so many societies and condo around makes it more family friendly and safe to live alone. there are good hospitals and malls nearby too.

I like the fact that daily commuting from here is manageable since buses and shared transport are easily available. The neighborhood has an active working class atmosphere.

The area suits investors looking for steady rental income instead of luxury property appreciation. Working families continue preferring practical locations like this.

The surroundings remain busy and energetic most of the time. But cleanliness and road maintenance need far more attention from local authorities.
