Living in quiet residential pockets off Kalher-Bhiwandi road is manageable. Having Lotus Hospital close by is helpful for emergencies, and daily veggies are easy to buy. Just that main road trucks make noise all night.

Evershine English School is nearby so kid travel is easy. But taking car out near Kalher signal in evening is absolute pain... heavy Bhiwandi container traffic clogs the whole stretch. Starts leaking 30 mins easily.

Daily drive towards Majiwada via Mankoli bridge is pure frustration. Heavy warehouse trucks and potholes near Kasheli bridge ruin the commute. Parking near local shops on main road is another headache...

Garbage dumping on sides of Bhiwandi road near Kalher market is getting bad. Municipality ignores backlanes. Streetlights work fine on main street but inner roads stay dark... area needs urgent basic maintenance.

Walking anywhere near Kalher main road is impossible... footpaths don't exist or are taken up by shop extension goods and parked bikes. Elderly people forced to walk on road edges with rushing heavy trucks.

Come here often for commercial warehouse work. Lots of local dhabas and quick eatery options along the main highway. Only thing is car parking is totally non-existent, have to park on dirty road shoulders...

Affordable rent compared to proper Thane West, 1BHK goes around 9k to 12k. High tenant demand from warehouse employees. Main issue is water supply... most buildings rely heavily on private water tankers.

PG rent near Kalher gaon is super cheap and local food joints are affordable. Reaching Thane station takes time due to Mankoli traffic jams, but shared autos to Majiwada make travel manageable on low budget.

love the peaceful nature..durgesh park is walking distance from my home..also the kolshet creek makes the area calmer. not many malls or fancy cafes nearby though..but its ok for quiet lifestyle
