Anand Nagar is a nice and budget-friendly area to stay. Auto stands are everywhere, so getting to Vasai station takes barely 10 minutes. Small general stores and vegetable markets are right outside the buildings.

The evening traffic on the main road connecting Navghar and Anand Nagar is a proper headache. If you are returning late, VVCMC buses are rare and autos charge a flat 40 rupees instead of meter.

Living here is very peaceful as the inner lanes are free from loud honking. Mornings are calm for a walk. But the footpaths are completely broken or taken over by local shop owners to keep their goods.

Plenty of cheap snack counters, frankie stalls, and photocopy shops around the colleges here. Renting a room or a PG is not costly at all. Streets stay busy and safe even after 9 PM.

Water supply is a massive daily struggle in Anand Nagar. The municipal water comes only for 1 hour in the morning, and sometimes the pressure is so low. We are constantly calling private water tankers.

Footfall is decent because of the heavy residential crowd. But the drainage system here is completely choked. Even a brief spell of heavy monsoon rain blocks the road outside my shop with dirty water.

Finding a parking spot for a car anywhere near Anand Nagar market is impossible. The roads are narrow and people double park their bikes carelessly. It is much better to just walk or take an auto.

Rental demand stays very consistent because of the nearby schools and coaching hubs. Property prices are affordable compared to Mumbai suburbs. The return on investment is quite stable for mid-sized flats.

Everything is within reach here from family clinics to supermarkets, no need to go far. The area is decent but garbage management is getting worse. Open waste bins on corners smell very bad during the afternoon.

Safety is the best part of this locality. Security patrolling is regular and families walk around comfortably till late. There are good schools and small playgrounds nearby, making it highly liveable.
