Nearby attractions include The Garden of Five Senses and DLF Golf and Country Club. Fatehpur Beri Police Station has created a sense of security and strong vigilance around the neighbourhood. I moved here for the fresh air and the open spaces that you just don't get in Malviya Nagar or Kalkaji. My house has a view of the greenery, and it’s genuinely peaceful.
no doubt its peaceful but be prepared for power cuts and water shortages here..i
the risk here lies in the unauthorized regularized status of some pockets, so you must be extremely diligent with title checks. but the gated compounds are seeing high demand
The baba neem karoli ashram mandir is the most famous thing here. many tourists visit here and weekends get very active and crowded which feels nice..
I like that it stays quieter than many parts of Delhi. Roads inside are narrow in some stretches, still manageable if you have your own bike.
Water supply is given properly most days, only in summers timing becomes bit annoying. Area itself is decent and people know each other, but parking on the lanes is headache...
Schools and small parks around this side make daily life easy. Streets stay active till evening so it doesn't feel too isolated. I find the area calm enough and shops are close by.
Going towards Chhatarpur side in office hours takes too much time. Some days 30 minutes get wasted just in traffic. After work I just dread that stretch, FR it gets tiring.
Garbage pickup is regular in my lane and basic things are nearby. Evening tea stalls get busy and that's about it. Life here is simple, not flashy, which I actually like.
Footpaths are very less and walking peacefully is not always easy. Too many bikes pass fast inside lanes. Daytime is fine though, I somehow manage and shops are close enough.
I come here many times in a month and the area feels easy going. Small stores are enough for daily needs and finding an auto is not much problem. NGL, I never found it too crowded.
Prices are not low now and roads around Mandi Road can get messy after rains. Nothing fancy here, just a normal area with mixed pockets. So so feeling from my side.
PG life is chill here, food places and grocery shops are easy. Late evening also there are people around so doesn't feel empty. BTW autos are available most of the time.
Dust and too much traffic are biggest pain for me. Deliveries get delayed because vehicles move slowly near Gautam Buddha Chowk, and parking is always fight only. Very irritating area these days...
