Jhatikra is between Dwarka side and Gurgaon side. It’s still more village-style compared to core Delhi, so entry prices can be more practical for land or independent floors. For long-term holding, it looks promising.
I shifted to Jhatikra mainly for budget rent and the quieter vibe. Metro station is far away, so I use cabs or buses from Jhatikra Village Bus Stop when I need to travel. Roads like Main Jhatikra Road and Kanganheri Road are okay, but at peak time you will feel some congestion near Aslatpur Crossing.
I actually like Jhatikra because it feels less crowded after office. My place is closer to Main Shikarpur Road, so the drive to Gurgaon side is smooth on most days. On weekends, we can go to the bird watching near Najafgarh Jheel, it is nice.

I rent here because it’s cheaper than the main Gurgaon side. The issue is last-mile transport. For daily needs, bigger shopping options are outside, though malls like Plaza at 106 and Ocus Medley are doable for a proper outing. If you want a lively cafe scene, it’s not that type of area.
