Rent is Rs. 10,000 per month for 900 sq ft which feels fair given the connectivity . However, during heavy rains I’ve seen waterlogging on the main street and potholes that slow down autos

We chose Jagathgiri Gutta for our toddler because there’s a cluster of good schools like DAV public school just minutes away. A multi-specialty hospital is within 3 km, good for emergencies. The evenings are lovely at the nearby park, though the park lights sometimes switch off early.

I drove down to Saroornagar Lake last weekend with my friends, and liked the locality. It was quiet and had less traffic, despite the weekend rush. It was a good escape from the central Hyderabad chaos. But parking issue was found, as we struggled to find a good parking spot nearby.

I study at JNTU, which is about 5 km from my hostel on Jagathgiri Gutta Road. I usually catch the direct bus and it takes roughly 15 minutes. There aren’t many 24×7 cafés here, so you have to go to Kukatpally
