Write a Review

Getting around from here is easy because e-rickshaws are everywhere near the main road. Rent is around 12k for decent places and grocery shops stay open till late night... very sorted for daily life.

Water supply is a big pain here. Water comes only for 1 hour in the morning and evening, that too with low pressure. You end up relying on motors daily just to fill tanks... gets irritating during summer.

Very comfortable area to live. Good schools are nearby and the inner roads near Nehru Nagar market are calm enough for evening walks. Basic utility shops are within 5 minutes walking distance which makes everyday errands quick.

Evening traffic near ALT Centre signal is pure nightmare. Autos stop anywhere they want and block the whole road daily. Taking a car out between 6 to 8 pm takes at least 25 minutes extra just for 2 km.

Decent place to live. Main road towards GT Road junction has good streetlights now, but inner lane potholes are left unfixed. Street safety is okay during daytime, night time some stretches get too dark though.

Mornings are pleasant and calm here. Local chemist shops near Yashoda Hospital road open early by 7 am which is helpful. Footpaths are broken in few spots, but general environment is quiet enough for morning walks.

Food options around the local market are great and quite cheap. Only issue is finding parking for a car on weekends, streets get choked with bikes... better to come on a bike or take an auto.

Strong rental demand in this area. Places near Police Lines get rented out fast because getting autos to Old Bus Stand is easy. Rent rates are around 15k to 20k, tenants stay long term.

Garbage is just dumped on the roadside near Harsaon main road and smells terrible in evenings. Street dogs make walking late at night risky. TBH not worth the rent if you expect clean surroundings.

Customer footfall is steady throughout the day. Deliveries in morning are smooth, but after 5 pm delivery vans get stuck in narrow lane traffic... somehow manage though. Good place to run a small shop.
