Bawana is recognised as a census town established by Thukrai and Kala – two Gaur Brahmins in 1168. This is a well-known locality of North West Delhi. Bawana PIN code is 110039. Compared to Central Delhi, the traffic congestion is minimal here but due to lack of extensive connectivity, the rental demand is slightly lower than other parts of the city. But i personally like the availability of local markets and industrial connectivity here. It's more commercial than residential

Living here as tenant for the past one year, I have noticed a strong sense of community here. Neighbours and locals are very friendly and helpful. I have also felt safe here. There are basic healthcare nearby like clinics and pharmacy, but lack of good hospitals can be troublesome at times

There are some ongoing infrastructure projects that indicate positive growth in this area, which means it can enhance the property values as well, leading to good resale growth. The lack of high-end retail landscape and other recreational amenities can be disappointing

I recently moved here, as the rent was lower than most parts in Delhi. Although I struggle with public transport options, there are basic facilities available here like supermarkets and food outlets, which does the work for me. It's a good and safe locality but may not be ideal for those seeking a vibrant area with good connectivity
