it is a dense area and gets very crowded easily on weekends..but great part is I can walk to the Shahdara Red Line station in 10 minutes and the Maujpur Pink Line is just as close...

there is a lot of unauthorized regularized construction here, so do thorough due diligence befirehand..

safety is okayish but the street lighting could be way better. I have heard stories about phone snatching near the darker corners..

internal roads are okk,but i am wary of traffic on Loni Road..its a nightmare every single evening. If you are taking an auto or driving, be prepared for a long wait at the crossings.

The air quality here is pretty rough, even for Delhi. We are close to the highway and industrial zones so the dust never settles. I wish we had more maintained parks..shivaji park is there but that gets pretty crowded.

Shahdara metro station and the local market are quite close. All daily necessities are easily available. The rent is also pocket-friendly, around 10k for a decent room.

The lanes are very tight and parking is a massive daily headache. MCD water comes for only 1 hour in the morning and the pressure is very low, making summers difficult.

Good schools and tuition centers are nearby. Traffic remains low inside the colony lanes, so kids feel safe playing in the evening. It is a good place for families.

The Welcome flyover and GT road stretch get heavily choked with traffic during morning peak hours. If you take the metro, life is literally sorted but road travel takes too long.

An old and reliable neighborhood. The local sweet shops and vegetable markets are nearby. Everyone knows each other and it is a bit crowded but highly convenient.

E-rickshaws and bikes drive very fast inside the internal lanes. Shop owners have blocked the footpaths with their displays, making morning walks tough for senior citizens.

I come here often for clothes shopping. Market choices are excellent but bringing a car is useless, as finding a parking spot easily takes half an hour.

Shahdara is a core residential zone, so rental demand remains consistently high. Builder floors fetch good resale values and the investment is very safe.

NGL, staying here is quite cheap. Budget food joints and photocopy shops are at every corner. Metro proximity makes commuting to coaching institutes very easy.

The municipal garbage van is not regular, so trash keeps piling up at the market corners. Streets get waterlogged during rains, which hurts customer walk-ins.
