I have been staying in Virugambakkam for 12 years. Everything is close – schools, grocery stores, temples. Very convenient for family life. But waterlogging happens during heavy rains, and that’s a big issue.

I invested in a flat near Arcot Road. Value has grown slowly but steadily. Good area for families and students. But street cleanliness can be better in some lanes.

Living in Virugambakkam feels safe, even at night. Ideal for families who want schools, supermarkets, and temples nearby. You can walk to most places.

Recently bought a 2BHK here. It’s a lively place with a mix of old and new buildings. Lots of places to eat, shop and walk around. Some lanes are narrow though, tough for parking.

I’ve been staying here for two years now. Theatres and restaurants are plenty, so weekends are sorted. Metro access is improving, but still not direct.
