I have been here for the last 3 months and I would say this is a good place to live. Only issue is that they need to fix the roads ASAP.

Tenants stay long term, and rent payments are regular. Garbage collection is not good. If they are not able to come in the morning the come in the evening to collect garbage

It’s a good investment area for those who prefer stability over quick profits. The demand from families and professionals remains steady.

You’ll find everything nearby like markets, schools, hospitals but one of the major problems here is the waterlogging. It rains for a few mins and roads are full of water.

Rents are affordable, and my office is just nearby. I like this place so much.

Villivakkam has affordable rental options and also easy access to public transport like the Villivakkam Railway Station and nearby metro stations. I like living here but there is a lack of high-end retail shopping. You can find local supermarkets and food options nearby.

The area is a family-friendly neighborhood and has reputed schools and colleges nearby. There are several IT parks close by too, which is great for professionals. But during monsoon, you may face water logging issues in some lanes.

The area has witnessed a 33% hike in the property values over the last three years, especially for 2 BHK apartments. Due to its connectivity and cleanliness, the real-estate value is quite promising.

The area has all necessary amenities one could ask for. I have been living here for the past nine years, and have seen the area grow so much. The metro connectivity is very convenient, but there is only one bus stop close by which gets too crowded in the morning. Overall, it's a nice locality in Chennai.

There is an Agastheeswarar Temple in this area, which we visited last weekend. the area is peaceful in the morning but got very crowded during the day. Also, some lanes are very narrow and smelly.
