The locality is close to IT corridors. Connectivity through Velachery-Tambaram Main Road and SH 110A is a strong advantage. Sees property demand from IT professionals. There are schools like Christ The King Matriculation Higher Secondary School and hospitals close by.

Vijayanagaram has changed a lot in last few years. Earlier it was quiet, now more shops and services have come up. It still feels peaceful compared to crowded parts of Chennai. Access to hospitals like Gleneagles Hospital gives peace of mind.

Vijayanagaram is growing fast, and you can see new apartments. Hospitals like Gleneagles Hospital are within reachable distance. There are gyms and a few cafes nearby. Public transport is decent, though having a bike makes life easier. Sometimes, drainage and road conditions in smaller streets need improvement.

Vijayanagaram has a calm environment. My flat is close to Nanmangalam Reserved Forest, and the air feels fresher. I usually go for morning walks there. Rent is still manageable compared to Velachery side. Good schools like St. Paul’s Matriculation School are nearby.

Rent is very cheap at 10k for a decent double bedroom. Local provision stores and vegetable markets are walkable. Great budget area for single bachelors.

The main Perumbakkam road gets heavily waterlogged during normal monsoon rains. The panchayat water is salty, so we rely completely on buying private water cans.

Many good CBSE and matriculation schools are close by, reducing travel time for kids. The internal streets are quiet and safe for evening games.

Commuting to Sholinganallur or OMR tech parks takes 20 minutes by bike. Evening traffic near the Medavakkam junction is a daily headache. Mixed experience.

All daily items from milk to medicines are available within a short walk. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe at night. Ground water is the only issue.

Footpaths are missing on internal layout roads, making morning walks tough due to loose stones. Streetlights are also blinking and dim in some lines.

Visiting relatives is easy but finding space for four-wheeler parking in narrow internal streets is tight. Share autos run frequently on the main line.

High rental demand from IT professionals due to the close proximity to OMR and Velachery corridors. Property rates are climbing steadily, good return value.

PG options are affordable but options for cheap North Indian food messes are very limited. Travel to city colleges takes time via public buses.

Open drains are never cleaned on time, causing a terrible smell and heavy mosquito breeding right outside my shop. Customers avoid standing here.
