I’ve been living in Vijayanagar for 7 years now, and I have seen it transform. The metro makes commuting easy. You can find BMTC buses too. Autos are available but sometimes they overcharge for short distances.

Parking can be a hassle, especially in busy areas near the metro and main roads. In smaller residential streets, it’s manageable, but if you have a car, you might struggle to find a proper spot.

I chose to rent a flat in Vijayanagar for my family as it is safe. It’s mostly a residential area with a good community feel. You’ll find families and elderly people out for walks, which gives a sense of security.

There are a few good parks for walking and jogging, which is nice. Some inner streets are well-maintained, but the main market area is too crowded for my liking.

Traffic is an issue, especially during peak hours. Chord Road and Mysore Road get quite jammed. The metro helps a lot, but some areas still see heavy congestion.

Vijayanagar is the best area in Bangalore. No noise, no party happening around. Good to live with family.

The streetlights on the main roads of Puthuvazhama Nagar Jamalia work perfectly fine at night. You can easily catch shared rides to the nearest metro station or train terminal from the corner stand.

Moving around Sr Enclave Prasanth Nagar Malkajgiri is very easy because the wide internal roads keep traffic flowing nicely. Public transport options like buses and shared vehicles are always available near the main circle. TBH

Water supply is the biggest headache in this pocket of Appa Junction. Internal streets get heavily flooded during monsoons, making it a nightmare to step out.

Liveable area but the water supply timing here is strict, coming only for 2 hours in the morning. Footpaths are broken or missing in some spots, though general cleanliness is alright.

The streetlights on the main roads of Mohammed Ali Rd work perfectly fine at night. Local grocery stores, pharmacies, and small vegetable vendors sort your daily needs perfectly. NGL

The streets around Kattankulathur feel safe but a few corner roads get dark after 9 PM. You just need to store water properly in tanks to manage throughout the day... otherwise okay.

Moving around Santacruz West Santacruz is very easy because the wide internal roads keep traffic flowing nicely. You can easily catch shared rides to the nearest metro station or train terminal from the corner stand. sorted.

Getting shared autos or e-rickshaws around here takes just 5 minutes. Public transport options like buses and shared vehicles are always available near the main circle.

The locality is peaceful but finding a direct auto during peak rush hours is a gamble. Also, evening traffic builds up heavily near the main sector entry point.

Very satisfied with the general peace and safety here in Malleswaram layout. The whole layout feels very safe for walking even late at night after work. sorted.
